Biomes is a feature of BOCProject. With together the Terrain Types define the tile´s climatic properties, each one of these tiles have a specific type of Biome + Terrain type.

Biome Types[edit | edit source]

The procedural generation is based on realistic simulations to generate the world map. The worlds of BOC are divided into circles of latitude like the real world.
This determines the type of terrain, the amount of sunlight, temperature, weather and biomes. According to their latitude, the biomes can be colder or more temperate.

The game engine technology can create up to 64 different biome types.
